How do I join a project?¶
At this time, you will need to have the Project Coordinator add you to the project. This can be done under the "Settings" tab on the project page.
How do I start a project?¶

How do I create a subproject?¶
In order to make a project a subproject, one must be the project coordinator of the top level project. Yes, confusing - for example, if User A is the Project Coordinator of Project A and a Contributor to Project B, User A has the ability through the Settings tab to make Project B a subproject of Project A.
So basically, if you are a Project Coordinator, you can make other projects you are involved with subprojects of that particular project. Also, subprojects are not different then normal projects, they are just used for organizational reasons.
What are trackers?¶
Trackers are a method to track issues both within a project and across the entire Open Pario site.
When setting up a project, the project manager can choose which trackers will be available for use within that particular project. The project manager is unable to add custom trackers as this is controlled by the site admins. If you have a suggestion on a tracker to add, feel free to email us.
In addition to trackers, users can setup Issue Categories that are customizable at the project level. These are accessed through Project Settings.
How do I setup my User Icon (aka avatar)?¶
Some of you have inquired about how to create an avatar, the icon that appears next to your name within Open Pario. Currently, most of you have a generic symbol created by the website, meaning you have not set up your personalized icon.
To set this icon up, you will need to follow either of the links below to activate your 'Globally Accessible Avatar'. When setting up your account, remember to use the email address that you used when registering for Open Pario so the accounts can be linked together properly.
